Friday

I can't take no more, her tears like diamonds on the floor...*

I've wasted more paper in the last 4hours than I have this whole month, it's unbelievable. I'm trying to make invitations for a baby shower but everything I come up with looks like crap. I have no idea what to do. I own no 'baby' anything. Maybe I need to go to the store? *ugh*
I'm stepping.away.slowly.

I decided to start Project365...again. I've started maybe twice and kind of stopped not even half way through. I love the idea but I get lost in so many other things and forget. We'll see how it goes this time but for three days, I've got this:

Day 1.
7/1
Day 2.
7/2

I've never been too hot about taking pictures of myself but I want to start journaling/scrapping more about me, so I'm going to stop caring about how bad I look and take them, dammit! hee

Day 3.
7/3

Wish me luck!

It was a total surprise to find one of my uncle's at my house yesterday. He's visiting from Canada for a few days. It's very exciting to get to see him, specially since we had no idea he was going to be here. I hope to come up with something exciting to do now that the weather is a little better. Last time he came it was below zero and more than 4" of snow on the ground.

Ok, back to my desk-I need to get these invites done. Any ideas you can throw at me?

*can't stop listening to this song! love him :)

Ok so I totally think Rob T is a sexy man-- And I really don't think men are sexy. Handsome-yes, gorgeous-yes. Sexy no. But he is!!

As for the invites--urrggghh. No clue? I can't say I've ever had to do anything with babies!! LOL. My kiddo was well into her teens when I started to scrap and I ain't going back!!

365? Well I've wanted to start that many, many a times--yet like you-- can't seem to get past day 3 or 4. But you know it's not a real problem (I say this-but I"ve not been able to acomplish it) you can journal on the days you don't take pictures or have anything exciting to tell. You can fill those days with emotions or feeling about anything --like the latest news or events around your home or family.

I think you did a fab job at the self-protraits--girlie--I'm so the queen of taking my own picture. Thanks to ALi Edwards I started to take my own pic back a few years ago and haven't stopped since. Trust me this is the only way to scrap about yourself--take more--more...in poses you might not think would look cool but really are, just parts of you..like just eyes, smiles etc!!! You can do this!

PS> I put you on my blog roll but I keep getting an error. Blogger says something about not being able to show your updates. I can see your name on my blog but not your updates---any ideas?
Ok girl have a nice weekend!

Best of luck with the 365 project! I just started mine again on the first! They can be so much fun, but the dedication is a little more difficult for me! LOL

i started the 365 project once. i got about as far as 2 days. sounds really easy...and i guess it really is. i just wasn't dedicated to it. i should have stuck with it. it would be fun to look back on i think.

those are really good self-portraits. way to go. keep it up.

i really like cinnibonbons idea of journaling on the days that you don't get your camera out. that is a fabulous idea.

sound like you're having fun with your family.enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Hey girl. Go you on the 365 I think I lasted a week because I am not a good photographer & I don't like taking pictures of me!

My advise on the invites? When in doubt keep it simple when you are stuck. Speaking of which I should start on my halloween cards!

Hugs to you!
